Susan Hampton is a CERTIFIED LIFE EMPOWERMENT COACH, certified in 2007 through iPEC Coaching, after completion of more than 320 hours of training during 2006 and 2007.

iPEC (The Institute for Professional Empowerment Coaching) was established in New Jersey in 2002. Known as iPEC Coaching, it trains personal coaches, and has grown to 10 locations, including two in California. Their programs are accredited by the International Coach Federation.

What iPEC teaches is how to be a master-level coach with enhanced interpersonal skills and communication. The coach's job is to partner with clients, to help them see their potential and options, and to help form goals and behaviors needed to achieve those goals.

Some people suggest that coaching works for people who are ready and committed to change, yet can't seem to get focused. What coaching does is assist clients in deciding what they most want to do, figure out how to do it, and then holds them accountable in taking those steps to accomplish it.
